International Society of Multidisciplinary Interventional Oncology (ISMIO)
International Society of Multidisciplinary Interventional Oncology (ISMIO) is a newly established non-profit, apolitical professional society focusing on the multidisciplinary treatment for cancer patients. The society intends to structure, nurture, and support all surgeons, interventionalists, oncologists, scientists, industrial partners, and anyone who focuses on cancer treatment or research to connect and unite. With the generous support of world-class experts in various fields related to oncology, ISMIO is expected to become one of the most influential oncology societies in the world and preserve its leadership in the long run for optimal cross-disciplinary collaborations and most advanced treatment options.

Our constitution
ISMIO was initiated in 2020 by the three founding members, Dr. Gao-Jun Teng from Zhongda Hospital, Southeast University in China, Dr. David C. Madoff from Yale School of Medicine in the USA, and Dr. Uei Pua from Tan Tock Seng Hospital, Singapore. More members from different specialties dedicated to cancer treatment are welcome to join ISMIO soon.
